James Pollock oversees ServiceFM’s transformation to facility services company

James Pollock ServiceFM CEO

The company transformation of Academy Services to rebranded facility services provider ServiceFM has been overseen by recently appointed Chief Executive Officer, James Pollock.

The announcement of Mr Pollock’s appointment as ServiceFM CEO was made in January after he had been acting in the role for the previous year, overseeing the major company and brand transformation.

The 41-year-old cleaning company was rebranded as ServiceFM in April, 2021, moving towards a facilities services model with the motto, Everything’s Connected.

During his tenure in the acting role, Mr Pollock reviewed and upgraded internal reporting and business systems, improved organisational capability and oversaw major brand and marketing changes that guided the company to its future as the facility services provider, ServiceFM.

The benefits of the multi-year transformation were seen earlier than expected as the changes, particularly the business and organisational structure, allowed the business to better navigate the COVID environment.

“This company is maturing and moving in an exciting new direction – progressing to the next level in terms of systems, processes and level of sophistication,” Mr Pollock said.

“We are positioning ourselves for the next phase of growth and I look forward to introducing more clients to our new facility services brand.”

Mr Pollock has vast experience in management consultancy, local government and the oil and gas industry.
